ah man the L and P plates are **** as.
umm here in australia when you turn 16 you can get your "L's" or your learners lisence. to get your lerners lisence you need to do a written exam and pay $60. umm you have to drive with someone else who has a full lisence for 100 hours and fill out a log book to prove those hours i think its like 30? hours you need to do with an accredited instructor(something like that). then after 12 months and the 100 hours of training you do a full driving course to get your "red P's" or provisionals lisence. you have your red provisionals lisence for a year then you do an online test to get your "green P's" or green provisionals lisence you have that for 2 years then you can get your opens lisence.
and here in australia your not allowed to have a v8, turbo/supercharged car(some exceptions), a car with more than 200kw, no modifications to increase power are allowed and there are some power to weight laws in some states. on your L's or P's. oh and for the aussie guys they are changing it again apparantly to 200 hours on your L's here in qld in july... fun.
and if ive missed something (i probably have) feel free to correct me.
