Porsche 911 GT3 Hybrid slated for a Geneva Debut

The Geneva Motor Show will be a great event with some scorching cars and one of the highlights of the event will be the unveiling of the Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid. The hybrid system which features in this car is tailor-made for racing and it is different from the conventional hybrid systems like the one found in the Prius.

I don't know about mglavina but I certainly read that point. I'm just highlighting the fact that they stated the obvious.

I don't really even see the need for a hybrid system for a car that is primarily designed as a bare-bones racing car. I doubt it's going to decrease the GT3's fuel consumption by very much anyway.
