Can't Upload Pics Anymore..plz Help!!!

Well when I try to upload pics on photobucket it opens a cannot find blah blah page.Doesn't matter what site I use I can't seem to upload pics to ANY site.Never had a problem so what can this be?

use www.njsr.org. they are much better IMO.

Well I tried about 4 sites now and not one of them let me upload!

Well look slike its uploading half way and then stops responding or something.Then it opens the "The cannot find server" page?!?!

Sounds like a computer problem to me, not an upload site problem..I'll move this to Tech Help section and hopefully our resident geek will see it and help you...

anyway what are your computers specs and what isp are you using if its aol we know the problem
and are you using any anti virus software or firewall

Ok i'm running XP on a 1GHZ celeron with 256mem and I use Norton anti virus and spysweeper.Then i'm in South Africa and my ISP is Compuscan.And i'm using the windows firewall.Need more info?

Do you get an error immediately ? OR does it start to upload and then quits half way?

Try uploading pics that are less then 200K. It may be a size issue with the webserver. Win based webservers often impose an upload size and time limits on upload components.

Yeah it gets halfway and then just stops and open the error page.I even tried a small smiley and don't want to upload it.But when i'm using Yahoo to attatch files to email it works fine :blink:

Ok I think its spyware on my comp causing this problem.I have about 4 spyware scanners on my comp but when I open IE it goes to my normal homepage and out of nowhere it change the URL and in the original IE window it opens "about:search" page and a pop-up appears on the screen.

Can this be why it don't want to upload pics.Come to think of this it started the crap when this popup thing started.Any good software to remove it?

Or is this another problem?

but if u want to get rid of spyware the software I sue are Adware and Spybot: Search and Destroy noting gets past em lol

but then again im not the Tech Geek NG is lol jks :P

I just got them.Had spysweeper on my PC but now its bad.I can&#39;t even post large post like pics and so on&#33; <_<

no spyware its self wont stop it but a firewall could and so could the spyware remover programs if there running in the bg stop them long enough to upload you pics and what speed is you internet cable / 56k

Well I turned off my firewall and no luck.Its still doing it :blink:

ok try this place its not in english but a monkey could understand it try it and let me know if you can upload it there and make sure its in jpg format not jpeg2000 or some other weird format
