How do you add a flag on a car?

Hi, quite new here. Got a picture of flag here and a car, so i resize the flag and change the mode to multilpy, darken etc, but it's not perfect

Is there a tutorial showing you how to do it?

Explain a bit more? do you mean as a decal or vinyl on the body of the car?

I thought decal and vinyl was the same thing

Well its just a picture i want on a door of a car but i need to scale it and add some effect to make it realistic. I have seen some tutorials but i cannot get it to be realistic
