What do you want to see different on PSC
All,
Im looking for some new ideas that people want to see on the stie. Anything that you want at all please don't hesitate to put it in this thread. Really im just looking for some unique ideas and things to improve the site. Bandwidth and scope is not an issue.
There is the obvious chop shop expansioin and the possibility of video tutorials. What else would people like to see?

Can i suggest removing the "random post" thing from the home page of the site? i think that may be responsible for so many old threads being bought up lately, people just click on that and reply without looking at the date. Or is there a way to make it select random posts within a certain age?

couple ideas. first, are you able to delete the thousands of "members" who signed up and then were never active? and also, to go along with what PSU has, an advanced choppers section. and also with what V8 king said, you can get rid of the random post.

i think that was discussed on here a while back. I don't think it would be a good idea because there would most likely be some arguements over who is good enough to post in there, and also most of the "advanced" choppers don't post their work that regularly so the section wouldn't be too active.

I don't know if this is something that's fixable but I'd really like to know why some chops good or bad get more posts/feedbacks then others and if/how that can be fixed.

There is a rule that says u shouldnt do comments like "good." or "bad."..such short comments arent allowed the rules say but ive seen a lot of them lately... i know its hard work for an admin but we need to get it more strict about those small comments...tell the people why u dont like it and what he/she could do better... if u dont know how to fix it than its okay but i hat ppl who post ten short comments in a row!
plz take ur time on comments
cheers

I personally have tried many, many times to correct this problem but it is almost impossible to do. I guess I could start sending PM's to people doing this but that would just get old, I'll try it though...cause the whole telling them in the thread that it has happened in doesn't work.
Also, on the getting more comments out of a chop. I know it's hard, it always has been, but I say the best thing to do is to keep trying, keep trying to REALLY impress people. The same old same old isn't cutting it anymore. You've got people out there brushing full cars and doing a damn good job at it....the old bodykit/lowered/wheels thing isn't going to work anymore, people are bored with that, and just about anyone can do it.
Personally, I'd like to see more off the wall chops, like crazy stuff(Jetster style if you will) it's always funny to see things that goes on in peoples heads. Also, maybe some more old school chops, muscle cars/hot rods things like that......honestly, the rice thing has been beat to death, anyone can do it and everyone does it and it gets very repetitive.....TRY SOMETHING NEW!!!!

i would like to have our own image host, to stop the whinging about resizing etc.
id like a "quick chop" section. i think this would give the ability to showcase ideas, i see this as a pre WIP area.
When you view "new posts" the date and time the last post was made appears, i would like to see the date the tread was started.
A begginers area would be good. this would stop every second tread being called "my first chop" , "my second chop" and hope fully reduce the volume of negative feedback.
