ID Datsun Fairlady Z Concept [IAC]
Hi!
I'm back again with a brand new concept design
Project remained for over a year since I started work on it again. From my birth I'm in love with the old fairlady (240Z S30) so I decided to make my own modern version. I'm not a big fun of all next "Z" generations so I wanted to keep style of the old one as much as possible.
Whole thing is fully brushed (like my 2nd full brushed concept skyline gtr) except rims (partly brushed). There is no base picture, because it is made from scratch, just inspirations photos presented below :
The "as real as possible" look was not my aim in that project, just wanted to show how I imagine that car.
so here it is, hope u like it

real background (red one)

king regards,
IAC

Definate GTR inspiration in there but it looks great. the design and brushing work is brilliant and the details are incredable.
Great headlights too.
The only problem I see is the Brembo logo on the brake caliper is backwards

Outrageous !
I love the idea but of course someone was bound to do this sooner or later.
Im a big Z fan myself and still love the original platform models.
The only thing im at odds about regarding your concept is the pointed section at the top of the headlites. I think it would have looked better to have just rounded it off retaining some of the original style and also making it appear a little less bizzare and more practical.
Fabulous work though man, your detail and execution is flawless.

My God. That is incredible. Great job man. You should make some Wallpaper sized images.
I would Love the Real Background one in 1650 x 1050.
Again, Great Job.

Awards Showcase
Here's my constructive criticism.
As many have pointed out, the brembo logo on the caliper. I know that's an easy one to miss.
The reflection is a letdown, I like how you reversed the car, but the filter you used on the reflection and the way it's blended doesn't go well.
The cowl on the hood seems flat to me, it seems to be missing depth.
Otherwise I like the design and all, I am a bit of a Z fan myself.

I'm also a big fan of the 240z but im not sure about your design... its a bit too boxy IMO... follows a bit the 260 and 280 but oh well reall great work! you got some mad skills ! the only thng thats missing are reflections on the real environment pic
Cheers
