this is done, the only thing i need to change are the wheels, they are a bit blurry.
this was a complete change, and took me about 3 days, on and off, the paint is actually done with dodging and burning.
the wheels are the original tires but the rims were suppose to be wire wheels, thats why i have to change them to a better resolution.
original
chop
mods:
new background
new crappy wheels
new paint job
tint windows
chopped top
frenched headlights with eyelids
airbrushed skull graphic
spotlights
All c&c appreciated even bad comments, its crappy i know.

That looks awesome, love the paintjob. The only thing is the roof, it needs to be smoother to look realistic imo.

I like it. The paint tunred out great. It looks like some kind of turtle. As you pointed out, the rims are blurry. The only thing I don't like is "infamous green" on the windshield. It looks too flat. The roofline looks jaggy too. Otherwise, good job.

The 2 mirrors are lights, I believe... Like on a cop car (?)
Anyways, the chops is mondo cool. The faults have been mentioned, so I won't be redundant It's funny, my sister has had 3 Bugs, and I'm seriously considering decking out one as well. Rock it!

those 'custom' style mirrors need to be the only ones on the car
they aren't headlights, they're mirrors
paint looks excellent, save for a few differences between the two sides of the car (like around the headlights, not quite the same)
but it's a really nice effect, good on ya
i'd probably take the rubber strip off the bumper too, actually, and integrate the turn signals into the fenders or headlights
looks a little cruddy compared to the rest of the car

ok as for these so called mirrors, those are spot lights, they were takin from this car>>>
so u see, those are spotlights, commonly used on old skool cars, as for the bumper, u cant do a whole lot with a square thing like that, back in the '60s, '70s, and early '80s, VW didnt design these vehicles to well, and i know i know the original was built by adolf hitler in WWII as a car that could go long distances on a tank of gas on the autobahn.
i was just trying some new things out, but ill just shave the front bumper and make it have no blinkers, cuz blinkers on the fenders just wont look right on a show car like that, and i will fix the wording on the windshield as well.
thanx for the comments.

Looks great, the lowrider style paint reminds me of a turtle.
The chopped back window doesn't seem right. JMO.

Very nice, Ive never actually seen sumone create their own paintjob. That's just sweet, really defines the low rider look.
