Check the auto chops section for the final version under "Terra Pickup"
and heres the projects progress ....
org.

what i got so far

The rims ...

heres another update ....
I shaved the emblem, and door handels and gave it a lower stance ( it's not smoothed out yet so it's a bit rough around some of the edges and I havent chosen any brakes on it yet either)

Heres an idea for the tribal paint job I started workin on ...

I added the bedcover and brighter grille I also cleaned up the paint on the rear rim

Brain just to show yeah it's got rubber around the wheels I brighten up the area. Again I didnt realy mess with that region that much or color it around there the tires were dark from the start, some pics just have it like that Not every pic gotta show rubber ....

the lighter spots are just construction areas that were brightened up so I get to c how the tire runs to line up the rims. the resolution on my comp is little dark so i cant always c everything ....
this is just a start and trust me it'll be sweet lookin by the time i get through with it.
yes the truck is fliped so the gmc emblem is fliped as well ... but i'm planin to switch the frnt clip totaly or atleast play with this one to updated it to somethin better lookin ... I'll updated a new pic on a daily bases maybe even more then that pendin how long it'll take to finish this ...

Check above for updates I'm gonna post the newest once below the older in the first post ...

those green things are blinkers that I just painted to match little toward the paint but they are just temps ... I'm planin to lose em or atleast clear corners.

I'll add rotors to the ride but that'll be one of the last things I do I still have alot of body work to do like the frnt headlights, grille, bed cover, maybe a billet mirror to match the rims.

Not to be too picky about this, but you got some of your paint colors are being a bit smudged onto the back wheel
With the wheels, it looks like that it is just sitting on the wheel and not any tire, also looks like it is going to stracht the hell out of the underside of your fender flares and not move.

alright I c some of u still dont get this. most layed mini's can't move when layed out cause the tires stick into the whole engine bay and are inches from either the hood or the engine. I know The fender flares are a bit small but the way the truck is sittin it'll lay frame and be able to tuck those rims. thats one of the reasons I didnt lay the truck totaly.
I belive u it wont turn or be able to run like this w/o rubin rubber but the way it's sittin now it'll be able to lay frame but thats just for sittin for drivin just like most of the mini's that tuck big rims it'll have to lift up ....

.... check above for another update ....

go lower hahahaha needs a massive b/d. and u guys need to do some research on bagged trucks. u never see a pic of a laid out truck or car with the wheels turned, DUH :P

only thing i see is that it needs some negitive camber in the front wheel to looked totally bagged

I know I gotta push my rims just a little bit back to show they go more into the engine

heres one layin frame with big rims. it's got alot of nagative camber but they tuck.

I was just saying that it looks like you have no tire, I am not commenting on how low the truck is.

I wasnt talkin to u in person just sayin in general sorry if it came out like that i didnt mean for it.
To answer u're q about the tires ... If u take a look at the first chop pic i uploaded, when i just placed the rims on it, i lightened up the area around the wheels to show the rubber. I actualy couldnt c it myself thats why i did it. the fact is that pic itself is darker around that region I never actualy touched it.
I took of the construction area off cause it made my paint look bad and I hated lookin at it like that but heres a lightened up shot of that pic showin that it's got rubber around those rims ......

...um actualy i cant upload right now cause the image hostin page just went down so I'll try to post it up tomorrow. basicly the tires are there similar lookin tot he first shot just little cleaned up.

honestly im not the biggest fan of the tribal vinyl, i'd prolly wouldn't have it and just do an awesome colour on the car, it looks pretty wicked though especially fully dubbed lowrider style, the rims are awesome for that car, maybe jsut too big but yeah its lookin pretty sweet.

This tribal paint work is not a vinyl sticker/decal but a tribal design for the bottom portion of the paint design that i started doin for this car. I personaly dont like decals on my rides. As for the rims yeah they are a bit big I should have put more nagative camber on am so they'd tuck better uner the fender flares but the idea was that this bad boy was supose to be cruisin on 24's thats also another reason why it aight layin rockers.

Brian I posted a update just to show yeah the brightened area around the tire region.
