how do i save my photoshop photo to a gif or jpeg or bmp. can someone please help me? what do you guys save it as?

.jpg is the best compression. In photoshop, it's file>save as> and select the directory and name it, set the format to .jpg. After you start to save it, you will get a dialog box that lets you make settings, I usually set it to 9 or 10.

you can also do file>save for web. choose .jpg high,with around 60 quality and click save... its great for reducing file sizes too
