Default DVD Player Apps?

Okay does anyone know which programs can play dvd's pretty well? All Im really looking for is something simple no fancy stuff just simple, up to date, and funcional(sp?). Anyone have suggestions?

ps I know this should probably be in the computer tech forum but no one ever goes there

yeah, powerDVD does everythin you need really to watch a DVD, and its easy as hell to use. it came with my LG dvd burner as well

I use InterVideo WinDVD... came with my laptop. I barely watch DVDs on my comp though... usually my ps2 or xbox gets the job. even rarer do i use a dvd player, except when i want surround sound or big screen.

Intervideo is probably the best I can think of that is out there right now.

download vlc. it pretty much plays every kind of video file without a problem. you can get it by going to download.com and searching for vlc media player.
