Hey guys. Just stopping by to show you guys the car my son and I just finished for his first Pinewood Derby coming up this weekend. Hope you like.

Wow thats cool bro !
The derby sure has come a long way since I did it.
We only had 2 or 3 body choices and you could paint it however you wanted, that was it.
Let us know how he does.

Ahh, your from England. That would explain why you don't know what this is. Cub Scouting means doing. Groups of kids get together to learn by doing. They learn respect, discipline, technical skills, the list goes on. One of the activities is the Pinewood Derby. You are to build a car out of a block of pinewood. You purchase a kit. In the kit is 4 wheels, 4 axles, and a block of wood. There are few rules to follow. 5oz total weight limit, 7" long or shorter, 3" tall, and 3/8" ground clearance, no other means of propulsion... Anyways, the cars race down a straight track. Through a series of heats, a winner is determined.

pinewood derby is truly one of the reasons i want to have kids. i remember doing one when i was a kid. me and my dad make a pickup truck. was cool as hell. i wish i had pictures, but that was at least 15 years ago, and that poor truck has since disappeared. awesome job on the ghostbusters car. looks awesome.
