Default 200 sx brushed from the ground up ..first..

whell tryed this for the first time , i didn;t want to make a toon but make all reflections myself than make it more realistic

to be hounest it was not finished but i got tyred of it and placed it in a bg with some reflection..

this was a "study" project for some idea's i have so this was a learning proces for some things....one thing is for sure this is not your average chopping a car ..much more work involved..

at first i didn't want to post it because i'm not statisfied with the "chop" but thought what the .....post it anyway ..so here it is in several steps

grts richard

btw it was ment to be this rough because i was not trying to make a copy but use it ase guidelines

Great job! I don't see any jagged lines. It is a very cool concept.

Cheers,

Well... for one look at his roof, that tells me he didn't use the pen tool. I'm not knocking him for it. I still said it was good.

this is 100% constructive criticism because I wouldnt have the patience to even think about pulling this off, but the thing that stuck out to me the most the killed the realism was the body lines(the gaps between body panels) staying straight when the panel itself changed depth. the line between your bumper and front 1/4 panel should change angle some when it goes from being flat to extended out. The same goes for the vent on the door gap. There's alot of crazy body kits on here done by badasses that you could look at to get examples on how they should bend according to panel depth.

your asbsolutly right !!! to be hounest there are a lot of flaws as i mentioned before i got bored and rushed it , shame on me but it was great practice , never brushed from the ground up so that was fun and since i didn't want to make a toon and create all reflections from scratch that was my main focus

but i know what you mean by bodylines they should have gone sideways on the edge
so....

one more little thing...it looks like your front wheel is a bit squished horizontally?kinda oblong it seems?...and may wanna add some shadows over the back wheel.
