Exclamation Finished Scion Xb

As seen in the W.I.P. section. This has been a long and a big pain in the rear to finish. We are talking almost 2 months of work, in a period of 52 man hours to toon. I have been over and over and over this thing to make sure i did every little thing. The only thing i did not TOON was the background.

ENJOY

Original:

Toon:

All C&C is appreciated.

I don't know what to tell ya man, good job or good luck next time.

You put a lot of effort into it if you went off and did all the reflections yourself. I'd hate to say it but I think your time was sorta used unwisely. Too real of a chop will make people wonder, and the style you used isn't exactly "toonish" or "artsy." The addition of the chair and lack of shadow and depth really kill the overall effect.

Happy tooning and good luck with your next project, you did good, but you need to adapt a different style.

I'm with Omi with this one.

This doesn't even feel like a "toon" at all, and that I think is the
most monumental problem here, because what you have done is
"rebrush" an entire car. It's slightly different due to selection, and
what have you - but theres nothing that "special" in it for me.
There are no personal touches or sense of style here. No garnish -
it's just an outright duplicate. (the fact that the wheel and chair
are not tooned helps to solidify this opinion)

Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate the amount of time that was
put into this. However, as Omi said, your time was used very unwisely
in my opinion.

Well i mainly did this vehicle, to get used to the pen tool, I use the pen tool alot in Illustrator CS2 to make vector images, not pixal images as u would see a regular image being. So since i did the scion it is practice for my proctor exam which is comeing up in about a month. But thanks for the comments anyways.

^^^ Are you stupid? When a locked layer is selected you can't scroll through layers with out selecting another one. Can you make anything close to that?

if you look at the screen shot where its got layer 83 and 84, you can see the really small scroller bar proving there are a lot of layers there, nice work, but it doesn't look like a toon
