Creating Snow Tutorial
This tutorial will teach you how to create a realistic snow effect for your chops.

Step 1:

Start with a picture that already has snow in it preferably. Like the Pic above.

Step 2

Create a new layer and then adjust the levels of the image so that the image is lightened just slightly.

Step 3

Create yet another layer and then use the Fill tool with black to fill it in. Then apply an add noise up to about 140.00 using guasian and monochrome.

Step 4

Apply a gausian blue to the layer around 4.0 or 4.2.

Step 5

Now adjust the brightness to about -12 and the Contrast to 100. This will create a wide spaced snow flake on a black field effect.

Step 6

Add a motion blue to the image in whatever direction you would like.

Step 7

Then change the mode to LIGHTEN and you should have a snow type effect.
