Fender Flare Tutorial
In this tutorial we will learn how to create a fender flare to give that extra wide body look to any vehicle.

STEP #1

First we will take our three quarter angled specimen vehicle; in this case a nice white acura integra

STEP #2

Then we will use the polygon lasso tool and outline the edge around the existing fender. Then we will choose "edit" , "copy" , and then "edit" , "paste" creating a new layer. Then do the same to the rear fender. Now you should have to new layers with copies of your selection of each fender.

STEP #3

Now select anyone of your new layers. Basically whatever fender you would like to flare first. Then choose the "edit" option, then "transform" and then choose "distort" Simply distort the shape of our copy of the fender into the desired position so it looks as if it is flared out.

STEP #4

Now repeat the process for the other fender. After that is done all you will need to do is use the blur tool and the eraser tool where necessary to blend the new distortion into the rest of the picture. Like in the figure below the red arrows are pointing to the spots that have been blurred.

STEP #5

Then you will see the final product. Quite clean and attractive to boot
