Presented for sale is a 2012 Mac Mini with Quad Core 2.3 GHz i7 CPU and 10GB RAM installed and a 1TB Apple Fusion Drive (128GB SSD combined with 1 TB HD)I purchased this computer new and have been the only owner. It still is a pretty fast computer. Cosmetically it is clean and looks pretty nice. There may be some light scratches, but it has been cared for reasonably well.
There are two problems with it. One is the bottom RAM socket does not recognize an 8GB SODIMM .....I used to have 16GB in this machine and one day it had a problem with the bottom RAM and now I have replaced it with a 2GB SODIMM and together with the top slot with 8GB it now runs with a total of 10GB RAM. I didn\'t check, but it might just be some debris on one of the gold connector contacts, I have seen that happen in another machine before.
The other problem is the Thunderbolt port stopped working. So, now I use the HDMI port for driving a display and that works fine.
Other than those above mentioned items the computer performs as expected. I will do a secure erase of the drive and it will have a fresh install of High Sierra as factory, ready for user setup.The Mac Mini will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail in it\'s original box and outer shipping box as I got it from the factory.
