These were originally 5 year warranty drives, and each drive is still warrantied through November 17, 2022. That\'s 4 1/2 YEARS! These drives are almost brand new! I have included a photo of the warranty page on Seagate\'s site with the serial numbers of these drives.That gives you a total of 28TB usable with single disk redundancy. With dual-disk redundancy you would get about 21TB usable.
This Drobo has been very well kept, always in an air-controlled environment, and moved only one time from where it has sat for 2 years. It has no blemishes, no scratches, and operates perfectly. The only reason I am selling it is because I have upgraded to the Drobo B810N 8 bay NAS.
I have included screenshots of all the various screens so you can see the state of all the drives and the system itself, and also the mSATA drive.
On the bottom side of the Drobo there is a little bay that houses an mSATA port. I have included a 240gb mSATA drive and it is already installed. This mSATA drive was added less than 6 weeks ago, so it is also almost brand new.
This Drobo was primarily used for in-home media storage. Mostly video files. Compared to a business application, it has undoubtedly experienced very light use.
