Available for sale is this brand new ENHANCED Premium GOLD PLATED High Quality Commodore 64 Diagnostic and Dead Test Cartridge NOW WITH BUILT-IN RESET BUTTON, still with the unbelievable standard $5.00 worldwide airmail shipping.This enhanced premium cartridge has all of the features of the original premium cartridge with the added feature of being able to switch off the cartridge while you\'re doing your analysis. This allows you to power up your C64 as though the cartridge was not installed in the cartridge port. This is accomplished with the premium installed switch. With the switch in the UP position, your cartridge is in \"DEADTEST\" mode utilizing the781220 dead test cartridge image.With the switch in the DOWN position, your cartridge is in \"Standard Diagnostic mode\" mode utilizing the586220 test cartridge image. And with the switch in the MIDDLE position, the diagnostic cartridge is switched off and your Commodore powers up with your regular start-up screen.
This feature is great when you\'re swapping out socketed chips, and you want to quickly see if your change has affected your computer. Now you don\'t have to remove the cartridge, you simply move the switch to the middle position and you\'re ready to go!
This cartridge is designed to fit in a standard cartridge shell that supports a center screw. The finish on the board is ENIG (gold plated).
This unique cartridge includes both the 586220 diagnostic cartridge, as well as the 781220 dead test cartridge. Both of these cartridges are available to you on this one cartridge. Simply flip the switch to toggle between the two. This cartridge also features a surface mounted color changing RGB LED (indicating that your computer is supplying voltage on the 5V line) on the top right corner of the board.

This is the cartridge you\'ll need if your Commodore starts with a Blank Screen or even if boots with some defective components. It identifies what chip/chips need to be replaced.
