I believe when i bought the CPU it was an i7, but it is not marked.
It is a quad core marked at 2.2GHZ (I believe only i7s and up are true quad cores).
It has run for me near 4GHZ over a year. I believe it is an engineering sample.The bus speed will need to be adjusted for how you overclock the CPU.
