This listing might be for you!This listing includes an ASUS P5LD2 Rev. 2.01G motherboard.This motherboard is capable of running some Core 2 Duo processors, as well as LGA 775 Pentium 4 and Pentium D processors. The board does not have any onboard video. You will need to provide your own PCI-E or PCI graphics card to use this motherboard.
The CPU included is the infamous Pentium D. Intel was desperate to get into the dual core race, so hey, why not take the hottest, most power-hungry Pentium 4 in existence, perform the electrical engineering equivalent of duct taping two of them together in a single processor and see what happens? The Pentium D was once a powerhouse. It was never a good idea, but it was a powerhouse. The Pentium D 840 included here is clocked at 3.2GHz.
For RAM, this 2GB kit of ADATA DDR2-667 includes two 1GB sticks, and has been put through a pass of MemTest 86 to ensure stability.
As an added bonus, an Intel LGA 775 stock cooler is included to keep your Pentium D from going supernova. This cooler comes installed with thermal paste applied, so it\'s ready to go the second you unpack it. Sadly, the I/O shield is not included, primarily because I do not have it.
