Apollo 040 For Amiga 1200 With 32 Megs Ram works with issues sold as is. All in all the board works. just takes some messing around on the first boot. When i first boot i get red screen, then later a green screen, and after rebooting a few times, or turning the computer off and back on, I will finally get a yellow screen, (yellow is a sign that its getting ready to work) and after a few minutes of again rebooting or turning off and on, I get a guru error. after that it boots fine, and everything works great until you turn off the computer. I have no idea why it does that, it may be a timing issue with my motherboard, or maybe its looking for an apollo library or program, or maybe trying to put kickstart in ram. I just dont know. After the Guru crash, the darn card works fine even after rebooted.I put a new fan and heatsink on the 040. The ram gets pretty hot but works fine. I have never changed the crystal, but its not sodered in if you wan to replace it, it just pulls out. I hope someone takes this piece of history and can put it to better use then me.
