Apple MacBook Pro i7 + $290 of upgrades (480gb SSD, 16gb RAM & more) - Late 2011:
$175.50

15-inch screen
I\'ve always loved 15 inch screens way more than 13 inch. All three laptops I\'ve owned are 15 inches. 13 feels very mini.
Quad-Core 2.4 GHz Intel i7 processor
Self Explanatory. More advanced details at link at the end.
SSD Upgrade
see picture. I bought it for around $150 three years ago, and it made it run like a champ. Never had any compatibility issues. 480gb.
RAM Upgrade
16gb ram - I believe DDR3. 2 8gb sticks. never had any compatibility issues with these either. These two upgrades really helped it run competitively with much newer laptops. Costed about $100.

It\'s not letting me change the RAM above. It is not 4gb--it is 16gb.
Carrying Sleeve
Nothing special since it\'s just a case, but it\'s worth something.
Charger
The Mac chargers are honestly horrible (while also crazy expensive). They fray and break in no time (I had TWO break on me, even when I worked really hard on the second one to keep it safe).
So I gave up on Apple, did my research and came across this one with great reviews. It has always worked for me, and it also includes two USB charger ports which is nice.
Adapter Cable
This is nice because you won\'t have to do your research and then buy the proper cable to adapt to HDMI. This thunderbolt to HDMI cable is perfect. It\'s 10 feet long too. Never had issues with this either, and I used it for connecting to monitors/projectors/TVs. It\'s in great condition since it never really got beat up.
Condition
I noticed one scratch on the top when I looked closely. There is also one very small dent on the top. There are several on the bottom if you examine it closely. Neither are apparent from a distance obviously. You\'ll see them when you look from the right angle.

SYSTEM AND GRAPHICS CARD****
This computer is apparently a victim of the infamous 2011 graphics card issue***
The stupid thing is that it never bothered me until AFTER 2016 (the deadline that they offered free repairs). I actually never happened to me once until literally the day I tried to sell it.

Here’s an article on it with step by step instructions on how to fix it. But I’m guessing you already knew about another article on the Late 2011 model (this one good news is that I was able to completely erase and reset everything on the hard drive so that it will be completely fresh for you. To do it cleanly/correctly, I had to revert it to the OS it originally came with (Lion). (For the three years I owned it, I always ran it with the latest operating system, and it worked great with good speed, so it should be able to be upgraded to High Sierra once you get it working)

I never had any speed issues with the computer. The SSD and ram did wonders since they\'re usually the first two upgrades a person goes to to add power to a machine.
