For sale is an Areca RAID card. It has been tested for general functionality, but the battery is an unknown quantity and may need to be replaced. It is otherwise a fully working system pull.
This card will run SATA and SAS hard drives of practically any available size, though some very large current drives have not been tested. It supports stripe, mirror, as well as RAID5 and 10 and should be bootable in most systems. This model supports up to four drives and includes an aftermarket breakout cable capable of running four SATA drives.
The card will allow you to connect solid state drives, but does not support any SSD-specific features and may shorten the life of a solid state drive connected to it.
I do not know if this card can be flashed to IT mode to support systems such as FreeNAS. If you choose to do so, it is at your own risk.
