I\'ve come up with a new design for the UNOcart cartridge emulator board, and am offering it for sale here on . Please note that this listing is for the plastic case ONLY. If you need to purchase the board, you should be able to find it with an search.When you purchase the UNOcart from the vendor of that board, it comes with a minimal protective shell. It is however not suitable for day to day use as it does not adequately protect the board from incorrect insertion. Our premium case covers the board and offers the same protection against plugging in backwards as all commercial Atari cartridges. Our cartridge shell provides easy access to the microSD card, push button and visual access to the onboard LEDs.
The cartridge shown in the photos is shown to illustrated the board that was used in the development of this product. Furthermore, the cartridge shown installed in the case(and computer)is again shown for illustrative purposes to show you how the board fits and looks when installed in this premium case. You are only buying the plastic case in this listing.
This is a standard styled cartridge shell designed specifically for this cartridge board. Once installed, this cartridge can be plugged into any of the Atari 8-bit line of computers including the Atari1200XL. Yes, it is compatible with that cartridge opening as well! And there\'s no more fear of plugging the board in backwards in error.
The case is a two piece design, with four brass heatsets embedded into the lid, and held together with four black oxide hex-key screws. Openings in the lid exist to allow access to the microSD card, visual access to the onboard LEDs and of course the on-board push button!
UNOCART is embossed on the lid.
