Here is an Amiga 1000 PAIR OF RUBBER FEET from the keyboard of an A1000. THEY WERE VERY CAREFULLY REMOVED FROM AN AMIGA 1000 KEYBOARD AND WILL MAKE YOURS STEADY AGAIN AND FREE FROM WOBBLE. THE ORIGINAL ADHESIVE DID NOT COME OUT WITH THEM, SO YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING TO ATTACH THEM WHEN YOU GET THEM, BUT A LITTLE GLUE WILL LIKELY DO THE TRICK. THE ORIGINAL APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SOME VERY STICKY GLUE TAPE OF SORTS THAT IS JUST EXACTLY THE SIZE OF THE RUBBER PAD. AFTER 30 YEARS, IT IS STILL VERY is some information about Amiga 1000 key caps, etc...
I think the fastening system was the same through the production, but please look at the bottom of the key to make sure what you have looks the same. The works of the 1000 keyboard are soldered onto the board and the key caps pop off...sometimes they come easy, sometimes not...But when I was trying to get the keys off I never managed to break or mangle any of them. I will be taking the entire keyboard apart at some point and then I suspect I will list the innner workings...but for the moment, if you have a 1000 and you are missing a key cap or it is badly worn or somehow broken, have a look, and Please ask any questions before you offer or buy. I hope this/these keys help you get your computer back in shape for maximum enjoyment.I am going through my vast collection and letting some things go to other collectors around the world.
