I do not have any disks to check the disk drive reads them so cannot fully test the disk drive. Please check and read my 100% positive response and fell comfortable you will get what i describe below in its stated condition, packaged with care, and shipped as soon as possible. READ IT!! *Included in this lot is a Commodore 64 computer, Commodore 1802 color monitor with sound, and a 1541 disk drive. All power cables and video input cable is also included for all pieces.
Computer powers up and displays fine on the monitor. The monitor picture looks fuzzy in the picture because i used a cell phone to take the photos. In person it is clear and crisp. All the keys on keyboard have been tested and working. All of the functions of the monitor work. I plugged my original Nintendo into the monitor to check and sound also works, as well as all picture adjustments.
The disk drive does power up, and i hear it spin when it is first turned on. I have no disks to properly check that it will read them. This is the reason i am selling this in the for parts or not working, no returns category. This disk drive may need laser adjustments or speed adjustments!!
This will be shipped in two different packages. The monitor will ship in its own box. This equipment is VERY heavy, so sorry for the high shipping charge. Unit will likely ship fed ex ground.
