Commodore Amiga 1200 PAL with 8 GB CF card and extras:
$429.00

sale for a Commodore Amiga 1200 computer, PAL version with UK keyboard. The sale include
- Commodore Amiga 1200 with integrated floppy drive and 2 MB of on-board RAM
- 8 boxed games
- Gunboat
- Premier manager 2
- Knights in the sky
- Zool
- War in the gulf
- Gloom
- Championship manager Italia
- Sensible Golf
- 2 mice from Commodore
- a compatible Joystick
- 8 GB CF card with IDE adapter
- a VGA box adapter to connect it to a normal monitor or TV.
The AC adapter is NOT included in this sale.Due to the age of the item, it is sold \"for parts\"; even if it is in working conditions, since I do not know when it may fail. If you are a collector of old systems, you are aware of this. The Amiga 1200 is in overall good shape; has some yellowing and scuffs due to the age, and the rear plastic cover close to the mouse port is missing. also the bottom trap door on the expansion port has hand-made holes; probably used to improve airflow with an expansion card. The Commodore tag on the top has some scratches. I had this for more than 15 years; bought in UK from a fellow college student there.I did a brief check after taking it out of storage, and It does turn on, all LED lights works fine; the computer boot directly in the internal IDE card with Workbench 3.0. Due to the different file system installed to support high capacity drives (the computer came with a 40 GB hard drive), the available memory is pretty low, so you may want to consider to add an expansion to increase the base 2 MB that are on board (or you can re-purpose the internal drive as you see fit). The card is partitioned in 4 partitions, and has on it many games and software.
Considering the age of the computer; I would suggest to check the capacitors and eventually replace them; since it seems to be a common problem with old computers.Floppy seems to work; although it needs to be cleaned probably, since the few floppy I tried did work most of the time. The sale include 8 games, which may or may not work. I did not test them. The sale include also a \"tank mouse\" from an Amiga 1000 (it has the angle connector, not the straight one), another Commodore mouse and a compatible joystick with autofire. I did check briefly the tank mouse and the joystick, and they seem to work.I include also a VGA box that can be used with any TV or monitor that has a VGA port; to connect the Amiga 1200. Being a PAL version, it won\'t work if you connect the composite out directly to your NTSC TV. This device allow you to see the video correctly, although the quality is pretty low, since it is a composite out. I would suggest to get a proper CRT monitor to experience the best out of this computer.Feel free to ask for info and I will get back to you as soon as I can.Item sold \"as is\", no refunds nor returns. The item is in working condition unless stated otherwise; I try to describe the items to the best of my knowledge, hence I invite you to confirm the info, since I won\'t take responsibility for information that are not accurate. The item is sold \"for parts\", since it could fail at any time. I am not responsible for any damage this item and its proper/improper usage may cause to people, animals or things.
