The drives have been low-level formatted and tested to be fully functional. of course, these can be removed and replaced with standard SATA drives. Also, the SATA optical (DVD) drive is not ejecting disks (I used a pin to open & close it, but this is not ideal), so it should be replaced.
This will be well packed in a strong box for safe transport - I have extensive experience shipping sensitive electronics for . Because this is a larger item, I prefer to use UPS Ground for fast and secure shipping. Local Pickup is also an option, if you are nearby.
A Note about this Computer:
Thank you for looking at my sale. This is a computer that I picked up from a local business where I ensure that it was taken from a fully functional environment. Once I receive the computer, I clean it, repair anything that needs to be repaired and then run extensive diagnostics to make sure it is fully operational. All testing is done with enterprise level diagnostic tools running on Windows 7.
After the system is tested, I upgrade it to the latest available operating system that the system is licensed for. If it has a license of Windows 7 or later, I upgrade it to Windows 10. If an older operating system is present, I will install the latest distribution of Linux Mint, a very capable alternative. Of course, if you have your own license of Windows, you can install that as well. I also install the Google Chrome web browser and Libre Office, a freely distributable Microsoft Office clone that is also very capable. Finally, all the computers are updated to the latest drivers, patches, and software versions.
I make every effort to ensure that this computer is fully functional when it leaves my care and is ready to be used upon arrival. That said, it is not a new computer so it may not be able to run all the latest software: that is, it may not work 100% with the newest computer game or video editing application. That said, it does serve as good home office desktop computer for surfing the web, doing homework, checking social media, reading email and doing daily administrative tasks.
Of course you can upgrade internal components to improve performance. For example, I run all my diagnostics using a solid state drive, and in this is, in my professional opinion, the single best upgrade for any PC to improve its performance. I should also mention that the computer includes a fully functional network jack for a direct connection to the internet that I have used for all the updates. Unless noted, this is not a wireless (Wi-Fi) connection, but it should get you online with a simple ethernet cable connected to your router. Any further upgrades or modifications are at your discretion.
As such, I cannot offer any guarantees that the computer will work with every possible software, hardware, or accessory combination that you may wish to install. I also cannot offer further technical support once you start using it - that is simply beyond my resources to provide. Therefore, the systems are offered as-is, according to 's seller policies.
