I am selling motherboard pulled from our labs PowerEdge r720 AS-IS, as it has a broken iDRAC chip. This is for the motherboard only.I can verify that even without the iDRAC chip the system posts and boots normally, and the broken iDRAC chip does not impact the performance of the server or the operating system at all. As far as I can tell there are only two noticeablesymptoms of the broken iDRAC: 1) The server takes a few minutes to boot, as it tries and fails to initialize the iDRAC, and 2) the fans run at 100%.I have updated the motherboard bios to the latest version without any issue, and this board is capableof housing both Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge Xeon processors.
I\'m sorry that I can\'t offer any warranty, so please understand before you buy that you are buying a MOTHERBOARD that is not 100% functional. However, for parts or if the iDRAC does not matter for you, this board is still perfectly working.
