This listing is for a4-port Dialogic D/4PCIdigital telephony Analog/Fax interfacePCIcard. This type of card is used by software-based telephone voice-over-IP (VOIP) PBX\'s, such as Asterisk and software-based Fax-Servers - to interface or \"trunk\" with the telephony company connections. It is basically the part that allows calls to/from the public telephone system to talk to the VOIP phones connected to the PBX, or allows fax server software to send and receive faxes centrally.I have no way to test this part. I bought it years ago, when I was going to build my own Fax Server - a project I never got-around to doing - as I got busy with other things. So, this card has been sitting-around for years (maybe a decade?) unused.
I recall it being hella-expensive when I bought it. However, since I do not remember the exact amount or whether it was new at that time, or used, or refurb - I will list it as used - and priced appropriately to that.
