Issues: PLEASE READ!!!
First, cosmetically, the cover to the laptop screen has been sticker-bombed to infinity and beyond. Otherwise, the laptop is in good cosmetic condition. The LCD is in very good condition with no noticeable dead pixels.
Next, the eject for the DVDRW hot-swap drive is missing (see photo of underside). You can still eject the drive manually, you just have to work at it.
Finally (and this is a big finally)
There is some issue with (what appears to be) the laptop\'s motherboard that causes I/O errors when reading from the hard disk and/or optical drive. This prevents installation of operating systems onto this system.
I have attempted to troubleshoot this issue for some time with not resolution (tried swapping in new disks, booting with Windows, Linux, attempted install via USB drives, etc.).
Laptop can boot Ubuntu or another small Linux distro from a USB drive but system installation fails.
These notebooks were pretty dependable workhorses so I am selling this system to someone who may want it for parts (RAM, processor, SSD, drive caddy, battery, etc).
Battery holds a charge. Sold as-is.
If you have a Lenovo T410 and are looking for some cheap upgrade parts, this sale is for you.
