Mac 128k M0001 Complete Macintosh 128k Vintage:
Own a fully functional piece of history. This is the computer that introduced the graphic user interface and the mouse to the public. Nothing in computing was the same after this revolutionary computer.Steve Jobs was so proud of this Mac that he embossed the team names on the inside of the cover, because, as he said, "Artists should sign their work."This is a fully functioning original 128K Mac Model M0001 with working original keyboard (M0110), mouse (M0100), external floppy drive (M0130), original manual, and original cloth bag. All components of this 1984 128K Mac are fully functional: the mouse, the external floppy drive, the keyboard, and all functions of the unit perform flawlessly.Comes with 4 floppy discs with system software (1.1 and 3.2), MacWrite, MacPaint, and others. Also a floppy disk with several early games.Information from a serial number search:
"Your Macintosh 128 (M0001), with serial number ------, was the 14755th manufactured during the 45th week of 1984 in Fremont, CA."NOTE: This is a 33 year old piece of electronics, and, while it is in very good shape and fully functional, it has normal wear and minor imperfections:
-The software and floppies are not original issue.
-There is a minor repairable flaw in the carry bag, in that one of the rivets on the strap loop came apart. Strap strength is not affected. (The loose rivet is on the part of a short strap that loops around and binds together the two straps from each side.)
-There is a very minor chip out of the mouse casing, visible in the picture.
-The battery cover on the back is missing (See picture.)
-There is minor writing on the cover of the manual, and in two minor places within. The manual is in good condition, but with normal signs of wear.
