The Video hybrid or the Vidiot is a hybrid integrated circuit that works as a digital-to-analog converter for the OCS/ECS generation\'s 12 bit video to analogue RGB output. It also generates a monochrome composite video signal and combined sync. Built for A500, A500+, A2000 & A1000 owners that have a non-working original Vidiot chip. If you have no video signal and everything is working then you may have a bad chip, as this is what is used to generate the RGB signals.
This was made it because the video hybrid chip is hard to find (and very expensive),Commodore made 3 versions of this hybrid chip. This Video hybrid is version 03. All backwards compatible.
This is a brand new module and has been tested to work in both RGB and Composite Video modes.
