For sale is an early Processor Tech S-100 board extender. This one bears a copyright date of 1975. The board has been tested and works at full speed with my IMSAI 8080 and a static RAM board with a terminated backplane. The S-100 socket is a military spec HW50D2 and grips the boards extremely tightly -- if you have loose sockets in your motherboard, you\'ll probably have to pull the extender and separate the cards outside of the cage!
Do note there is a small chip out of the S-100 socket. This does not affect function.
This extender is short enough to remain in the card cage with the cover installed, so you won\'t put additional wear on motherboard slots by having to remove it every time you close a system up.
