I\'ve opened up hundreds of C64\'s and this is a first! Typically these are only seen in silver label machines and test/demo boxes; this revision was already phased out by the 326298-01 (5 pin) boards! What\'s even wilder is that I found this factory soldered on a 407 rev B board with a bunch of other IC\'s from late 1983! Why it was on such a newer board I\'ve no idea (I can only speculate that someone found a batch of them in the back, and C= was never one to let anything go to waste). :PDate on the IC is week 38 of 1982, this is also the earliest dated MOS IC I\'ve ever seen in a C64 board! It\'s a cool piece for the collector who has everything! :)
