RARE 1984 genuine Apple Macintosh Macintosh 128Koriginal beige soft-sided carry case madeby Apple in the USA! This case was introduced along with the originalMacintosh Model M0001computer in January 1984, now 39+ years old this year! This casestill hasits originalred \'Macintosh\' hangtag in clear holder as it came from Apple! Most of thesecases that are still around no longer have the red \'Macintosh\' luggage tag as they were removedto use the case and likely discarded or misplaced from the case over time. The original shoulder strap with pad that the tage is attached to is unused as there is no finish wear or loss on the black clasps, ones that saw any use will have rub marks and paint wear. This original strap was likely never attached to the case!This case obviously wasn\'t used much or lugged around like it was made for. Not all dirty and worn ouror damaged, all zippers and metal button clasps work fine. Photos of the exact case buyer will receive. From non-smoking environment, stored properly, so no smoke or musty bad odors absorbed into the case fabric like many of these will have now but you won\'t see that in photos. Overall clean and nice.Interior is good, there is some spotting on the bottom and on the sides as shown, could likely be spot cleaned but have not attempted.. Case is soft and padded to protect your Macintosh system and has compartments and sleeves for the original Macintosh mouse, original short Mac keyboard (later Mac Plus keyboard with built in numeric keypad will not fit), disks, and manuals, etc. The Macintosh red luggage tag card is very nice, never removed, and rare to find still attached to the carry handle. All metal snaps for the top closure and the zipper around the top with metal pull tab all work great. Exterior has pocket on one side for manuals, disks, cables, etc. This is a great way to store and protect your early Macintosh system or for prominent display next to your original Macintosh!Case is not allsmashed down and worn out like many of these are now, it is a soft-sided case though, not a stiff hard one so doesn\'t stand fully firm when empty. Very well made and durable genuine Apple brand high-quality soft case from 1984!
