Here’s a very cool, beautiful and RARE - AppleCD SC Plus external CD drive. Very pretty condition!I believe that this was one of Apple’s first CD readers for vintage Macs. This has just been pulled out of storage, where it’s been for the past 20 years. It powers on, the caddy pushes in and ejects by pushing the eject button. It’s otherwise untested and sold as-is, a vintage Apple collectable. Same footprint as the 20sc external hard drives! Without it being hooked to a computer, the drive acts like it’s reading a CD (noises and blinking light), then maybe 10-15 seconds later, it ejected the CD. My understanding is that this could mean the drive is not working properly and may need attention. Please offer accordingly. Thanks.
