This is a very rare specimen Intel C8080A-1 CPU 40 pin white ceramic DIP, with Gold Cap & Pins, in excellent cosmetic condition with no damage or bent pins. The C8080A-1 runs at 3.125MHz vs. 2MHz for the C8080A.The chip is dated the 19th week of 1976 and is listed as \"Extremely Rare\" in George M. Phillips \"The Collectors Guide to Vintage Intel Microchips\", 4th edition, 2007. I don\'t know if one of these have ever been previously offered on and I have never seen one listed.The chip will be packed in an IC shipping tube for extra protection from damage.You will receive the exact item pictured.
