Presale listing! Pleasenote that SDCC items do not become available to be released until the start ofComic Con which starts on July 18th and ends on July 22nd. Thus the earliest date any SDCC item will beavailable to ship is July 18th (which is compliant with ’spresale policy).
This is a guaranteed Presale/Preorder! All presale SDCC items I have listed areitems where I have already placed an order with the vendor and been charged forthe item and the item is being held on order for me to pickup at the conventiononce it starts. Many sellers on will sell an item in advance and then simply “hope” they will be able to obtainthe item at the show in order to fulfill the order (this practice far toooften leads to cancellations because once the seller arrives at the show theydiscover the item was either already sold out to the people who placed preordersor it turns out the exclusive item is less easily obtainable at the convention thanthey thought). I do not do that. If you see that I’ve listed an SDCC item itmeans one of two things unless otherwise noted: 1) I have already paid for the item and willsimply need to show up at the vendor’s booth/pickup location and claim the itemwith my voucher/receipt once Comic Con begins, or 2) I am at Comic Con and havethe item in hand. So offer with confidencethat your order will be fulfilled.
About me:
I have been attendingSDCC on an annual basis since I was in college in the late 1990s/early 2000sand thus have been in attendance for nearly 20 years and have been selling SDCCexclusives for at least the past 10 years.I am a collector and a fan who enjoys getting to attend SDCC everyyear. I am not a business, and thusattending the convention is something I do for fun, as a hobby, and in order toadd to my own collection, but because it is a very expensive show to attend about10 years ago I also began picking up extra items and exclusives to sell on in order to make attending the show and picking up exclusives for myself alittle bit more affordable. With mynearly 20 years of experience at SDCC I have an excellent long and successfultrack record for both obtaining these extremely hard to get SDCC items as wellas getting them to their buyers. Butagain, this is not my job nor am I looking to sell these exclusives as a meansof paying my rent or making a lot of money but this is something I have beendoing as a hobby for many many years with the sole purpose of just reducingsome of my own costs and so I can pick up a few of these exclusives to keep formyself.

In order to make things run smoothly I’ll try to address asmany potential questions as possible below.Please read before asking, but if you still have questions afterwardsfeel free to contact me with your questions.J
Payments:
Prior to placing your offers or committing to Buy It Nowplease make sure that you in fact do want and are able to pay for theitem. Despite what some people believe sellersstill have to pay listing fees, special duration fees, etc. even when the buyer chooses not to pay or requestsa cancellation (the only fees that are refundable to the seller when thishappens is the listing fees—but the other fees keeps regardless which whichmeans as a seller I end up losing money for all non-payments or cancellations). As a result I can no longer acceptcancellations for purchases, and as a seller I do not have the ability tocancel your offers (only you have that ability), so please be aware of thisbefore you offer and please pay for your purchase in a timely manner.
Due to the time sensitive nature of these SDCC exclusivesand the fact that they are only available to purchase/pickup during the limitedtime of the event--starting July 16th (the Monday prior to the startof Comic Con) all payments for purchases and closing sales are required tobe paid within 24 hours of closing. Iffor some reason you can not pay within 24 hours you should contact meimmediately, but please note that failure to pay within 24 hours during ComicCon could lead to the unpaid for item being offered to another collector. For international buyers you may experience aslight delay in being able to pay due to the fact that you’ll need to wait foran invoice from that includes the international shipping. Not to worry.Typically that invoice shows up relatively quickly after your commitmentto purchase so there should still be plenty of time to receive that invoice andpay within the 24 hour window. If thereare any issues that will prevent the 24 hour payment please let me know.
Shipping:
For Domestic Orders I offer free economy classshipping. This means I will automaticallyship the item for free via which ever shipping means is the cheapest based onthe size/weight of your package and your location. 90% of the time this means shipping FedExsmart post as that tends to be less expensive than USPS. FedEx Smart Post does not ship to P.O. boxesand thus requires that you provide an actual address for delivery and not aP.O. Box number. So this is arequirement when placing the order. Ifyou want another shipping option other than the cheapest economy class optionor if you would prefer to have the item shipped to a P.O. box this may involveadditional expense. You can contact meto discuss, the possibility of an upgrade but in all likelihood I will not beable to quote you an exact amount for the shipping upgrade until after ComicCon and after the item is in hand so it can be weighed/measured/etc. But by default when you purchase you areagreeing to accept the lowest economy shipping option and the upgrade is onlyoffered for an additional price if both parties find it agreeable.
For International Orders: I ship internationally using’s Global shipping program. This isthe only means of international shipping offered. If you are living in a country thatqualifies for the Global Shipping program I believe you should see a roughestimate of your shipping and import costs with the listing but I personally amnot privy to this information nor do I have any control over it thus I am unableto provide you with a quote on shipping to your specific country. With ’s Global Shipping program the costyou pay for the international shipping goes directly to ’s global shippingprovider. I do not see or receive thismoney, nor can I even tell you how much money it is.
Insurance:
I do my best to bubble wrap and package all items well sothey get shipped and arrive to you safely but on occasion items can get lost ordamaged by the carrier in transit. Whilethis is rare it does happen and is something that can occur no matter how muchcare I put into packaging the item well—when the shipper is negligent orhandles the package poorly that is something out of my control. So if you would like additional insurance tocover and protect your item from such shipping mishaps let me know and we willfigure out how much extra it will cost you to add the additional insurance andrather or not that is an upgrade you would like to pay. Again, though I may not be able to give youthis exact amount until after the item has been received and is in hand. So once the item is in hand and ready to shipI will contact you if you’ve already informed me you are interested in theinsurance so you can decide so you can decide rather or not it is worthit.
Shipping timeline:
As stated above SDCC takes place from July 18thto July 22nd. Some selectitems will ship during the convention, but the majority of orders placed won’tship until after SDCC starting on Monday the 23rd. Once SDCC is over I typically have 100s oforders to fulfill thus will be hard at work over the next few days making sureall of the items are well packaged and shipped quickly. I have a system where I can typically workfairly quickly getting up to 100 items shipped out per day, but as said above,I am not a business, and am just one person working alone to get these items carefullypackaged and shipped thus it may take me a couple of days to ship outeverything. As items ship I will also beworking to get the tracking information uploaded to the website for you. Please be patient and give it a few daysbefore contacting me to ask “has my item shipped?/when will my item ship?”etc. Rest assured I am doing everythingI can to get your item out to you as safely and quickly as possible but everyyear literally the day after Comic Con has ended I receive a hundred messagesasking when/if the item has shipped and while I fully appreciate the excitementand anxiousness of wanting an update if I stop to answer all 100 of thosemessages it will take me hours to respond which is time I should be using toship out these items. So please wait atleast a few days after the convention before asking for an update. This will help me get the items to you morequickly.
Communications during the convention/the week followingmight be delayed:
SDCC is an incredibly fun experience, but it is also veryintense and non-stop. Lines are long,events and activities are non-stop/24 hours a day, getting all these exclusivesin hand can be a lot of work/take focus and as a result on these days there canbe very few moments to stop and look at messages. As a result once the convention starts theremay be a delay to me being able to respond to an question. I’ll do my best to respond as I can but justknow that during the show there isn’t much time or bandwidth. Likewise the week after the show as mentionedabove things are very busy and hectic as I’m busy packing up and shipping hundredsof items—thus again there could be a delay in response time during thisperiod. Of course if you have animportant question that has not already been addressed in the listing youshould feel free to ask but for all other matters I request that you hold backthose messages if possible to give me time to do all the things I need to do atthe convention and to get things shipped out in the days immediatelyfollowing.
