Fully working condition. This laptop has some \"shine\" on the keys and normal wear in other areas but is otherwise in great condition. Note that this uses Libreboot BIOS, which is designed to boot Linux only! You cannot boot Windows with this laptop! Search Libreboot for more information using your favorite search engine. Libreboot is a secure fully open source BIOS that is endorsed by the Free Software Foundation. No proprietary drivers or other binary blobs are needed.- This laptop includes a brand new battery, 4 Gb of memory, a 120 Gb hard drive, and a new power supply.
- The original wireless internal card has been replaced with an Atheros AR9285 wireless card which is able to utilize fully open source wireless drivers.
- I\'ve updated the boot splash graphic from the stock version supplied by Libreboot to an alternative that looks a little more professional / modern. The stock splash image with a penguin and gnu is a bit too \"cartoonish\" in my opinion.
- The Libreboot bios has also been updated to include the original ethernet MAC address of the laptop as described in the Libreboot documentation.
- The bios partition is unlocked in the default configuration as described in the Libreboot documentation so that you can update the bios in the future using flashrom internally if desired. No disassembly or external soic flash clip required.
- The inside of the laptop including the fan and heat sink have been thoroughly cleaned of dust.
- Various unnecessary stickers have been removed and the areas cleaned of sticker residue.
