This sale is for one vintage and sealed booklet titled “MacComCenter fax and data communications” book, which would be an instruction manual for connecting an early MacIntosh Apple computer to a modem. It appears to have been made by Smith Micro Software Inc.
This book measures 5.25 inches wide, 8.25 inches tall and about an eighth of an inch in thickness. It is wrapped in cellophane.
The book is in excellent condition and was never opened. Therefore, I am unable to take photos of its contents. There is a tear in the cellophane on the front of the book; it’s about 4 inches wide and is in the middle front part of the cover. See photo for a view of this.
There is a label on the front of the book that says “L7233610.” The back of the book cover mentions that “this version of MacComCenter included by Practical Peripherals includes two unique features ... the popular fire transfer protocol Zmodem” and an auto registration feature. Not sure of the exact date of the this book, but I’d guess the 1980s.
This is a softcover book, and it does not feel like there is any disk or software inside the book itself.
