Vintage Apple Computer and Lotus eyeglass strapsI started my tech career in the early-1980\'s with ComputerLand. ComputerLand began in the mid-1970\'s and was the first large scale computer resellers. We were the authorized sales and service centers for IBM, Apple, Compaq, Epson, Novell, HP and others. I have recently retired from IT and will be moving next year, so I will be selling many of the items in my collection.
This listing is for two (2) straps or holders for eyeglasses or sunglasses. The first strap was a promotional item from Lotus,received at a Lotus Notes training session. It measuresapproximately 26 \" long and it has openings at each end to slide glasses into. It is bright yellow with the Lotus branding.
The Apple strap is bright blue with Apple logos along the entire length of 25\". It has connectors on each end that snugly hold glasses. Ireceived this directly from an Apple employee, while attending training in Cupertino in 1990. I had noticed she was wearing themwith her glasses, and asked if they were available for purchase. She told me it was an employee-only item, but then the next day, she brought one in for me. It has been stored away since then. I have not seen one since.
