WORKING Vintage IBM PS/2 Model 70 386 (8570) Intel 386DX Computer DOS WINDOWS:
$213.50

Physical condition is good overall (please see pics). There are marks, some writing, and scratches on the metal case, as well as some wear and yellowing, but the exterior is still nice. The floppy drive is in working order (rare on these machines). The hard drive also works great - no clicks, unusual noises, etc. There is some software already installed on the PC that I will leave on there (MS Works, some type of Norton, and some CAD software).
These are the system specs:
Intel 386 DX Processor (20 mhz I think)4MB RAM3.5\" 1.44mb floppy drive80mb Hard DriveIBM PC DOS 7.0 (Basically a custom version of MS DOS that IBM published. Compatible with MS DOS 6.22 but with some different commands.)Windows 3.1
I will also include a (non-original) copy of the IBM System Reference disk.sale is for the PC only and does not include any monitor, mouse, keyboard, cables, etc. You can connect a standard PC power cable, regular PS/2 keyboard and mouse, and VGA monitor connection. This is a great machine for reliving the glory days and running old programs and MS DOS games!***Please note that this computer uses IBM\'s proprietary MCA expansion slots. It does not have standard ISA slots and ISA cards will not work. Most MCA cards are easy enough to find on but it can be a challenge to find the .ADF configuration files. If you intend to add additional hardware to the machine please ensure it is compatible and you can find the correct software for it.***
***Note: I found no issues with the floppy disk drive when I was setting up and testing the computer. However, very old drives like this are known to have trouble reading disks formatted in newer computers and can sometimes be picky. Please understand that it is normal to have trouble reading some disks.***
***Note: These old IBM computers can be picky about PS/2 mice. If it does not like your mouse you may see an 8602 error when booting. If this happens you can resolve it by shutting down the computer, reseating the mouse or plugging in a different one, and turning it back on.***
