The box has been opened to examine that I received the contents, but the Mac Mini itself is sealed and never been opened or turned on.While the posting might say 4gb, this is actually the 8gb model. For Mac Minis, this version allows you to configure up to 16gb ram. It has the double 1tb (for a total of 2tb) storage.
