I panicked because the charger code became frayed, did not fit tight, I had to wiggle and push the worn out plug in adapter to even get a connection with a replacement from the original factory one with an adapter charge cord that I bought from Amazon. The one from Amazon worked for a little while but did not last. Buy this plug-in charger for Samsung Tab 2, 10.1 It has the smaller USB port on the one end and a larger USB port that is about 1 inch which fits into the Tablet. It fits tight and NO MORE connection to charge the battery. I am overjoyed as I was concerned that I would have to buy another Tablet. Do not fret with concern like I did and order this replacement part right now. You will be pleased. It says Samsung on the plug and is not a knock-off or refurbished. And, do not watch your Tablet with the cord bent at the bottom while using your Tablet as it breaks down the wires and ruins your charger plug adapter into the Tablet. When they say hot item, they mean it. I noticed the charger would get really warm. I replaced the battery in my device. One overnight charge. Seemed to work. When I plugged in tonight, I heard a pop while watching TV. I could smell burnt wires. I unplugged from the wall and it was too hot to hold. I have plugged my old charger back in and so far temp seems normal. Maybe I can use the cable, but the actual wall charger scares me. Will continue to monitor as I'm afraid of it catching fire since it didn't trip the outlet breaker. Battery same exact specs as the OEM that was replaced. No point in pics as temperature and smell don't upload very well. Also did not arrive in original packaging. Was the wall charger and cable in a thin plastic envelope. So I can't confirm it's actually real OEM samsung part. Price too good to be true. If you do buy, keep an eye on it until you can be sure it's not over heating.Read full review

$4+ per charge as it will burn after charging couple of times! I bought this charger thinking it was samsung brand but it's a knock off. It charged only twice and burnt with bad smell. I'm glad I found out before it could have started a fire!

The product was all that was promised and works since my purchase the connection to the tablet has been coming a part. It still works (for Better), but the fact that it will soon stop due the disconnect of cable from the connector (Worst). I used this on my night stand and I connect my tablet there, so the cable is left there until needed by the end of the day. I believe this to be an isolated case so I am going to repair it, but buy beware!

If you are looking for a good price for this adaptor then you are in the right place but as far as quality then its not the best. Adaptor is great the USB cable is not you know when you got a third world country knock off when you plug the cable to the tablet and the samsung name is on back and not the front lol what can you do it works and you get what you paid for. My tablets has been working and charging for two weeks now no problem so I can only say it works.
