Simply put, this Mac Mini with it’s 2.6GHz quad Core-i7 processor was THE fastest, most musclebound Mac Mini ever made until the 2018 line introduced a 6-core i7 processor (that costs $1700!).
This one started as a top of the line unit, but I took it even further. I maxed out the RAM at 16GB of Crucial memory (guaranteed for life). I removed the single hard drive and in it’s place installed a 4TB Seagate hard drive anda 128GB Samsung SSD andcreated an Apple Fusion drive - a 4TB Fusion Drive! IN A MAC MINI! You won’t find another Mini like it on . This is a unique configuration and when it sells, there won’t be more. I really just wanted to see if it could be done - I did it, but it was not fun. I won’t be doing it again, but I’m very proud of the final product.
I installed Apple\'s latest operating system, Mac OS X 10.14.3 Mojave. Then I installed of Office for Mac 2016. Then I ran the update programs and installed several GIGABYTES worth of updates saving you hours of setup time. That’s it - there are no previous user files whatsoever. It’s all clean and fresh and ready for a new user. All that you will find on this computer beyond that is a file with the username & password info and a PDF book that should help former Windows users get along with the Mac OS. It’s an older version, but it should be helpful to people that are new to the Mac OS. See the pictures for cosmetic condition.
And please... take a look at my response. I\'ve been selling on since 1999. My response pages show page after page after page of happy buyers of Macs and Mac related items. My response is not padded by sales of 1¢ trinkets like many others are. PLEASE... take a look - I\'m very proud of my response. I always ship the day after payment is received (assuming that the day after is NOT a Saturday, Sunday or a Holiday) and if payment is received before Noon Pacific time, I\'ll likely ship that very day. I\'m very careful to properly package these delicate items. I\'ve shipped over 1500 packages from sales and every one of them arrived in tact. Every package has been insured, but I haven\'t needed to filed a single claim. I don\'t think that\'s chance - that\'s careful attention to detail.
